Entry into the Pot of Gold Challenge contest (the "Challenge") begins on March 17, 2007 and ends on or around June 17, 2007.  Essay submissions begin April 17, 2007 and ends on July 17, 2007.

To Enter / How Contest Works

Complete and submit the electronic entry form at www.potofgoldchallenge.com/enter.html in order to register for the Challenge. Within 30 days of entry, and prior to July 17, 2007, submit an essay (up to 1200 words) answering the questions " How did taking the Challenge affect or change your life?  What did taking the Challenge show you about yourself, and about your life right now?"  through electronic submission at www.potofgoldchallenge.com/essay.html.  The essay submission must be received no later than July 17, 2007 at 5:00 PM (U.S. Pacific Time), and confirmation of registration in Challenge confirmed to be eligible for the grand prize. Sponsor is not responsible for entries not received due to lost, failed, delayed or interrupted connection or miscommunications, or other electronic malfunctions. Sponsor not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by persons entered at the Web site or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this promotion. All submissions become property of sponsor and will not be returned.

Selection of Winner

On or around July 18, 2007, winners of all prizes will be selected by random drawing. The winner will be notified by phone, e-mail or regular mailwithin seven days of the prize drawing. All prizes will be received no more than eight weeks after the closing date of the competition. Winners must complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within 5 days by return prepaid Federal Express overnight notification or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission given to Welcome Changes ("Sponsor") to use winner’s name, likeness or voice on Sponsors' website or other media for publicity, advertising, trade purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by applicable law. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if potential winner fails to claim or accept prize within ten business days of notification, disqualification may result and an alternate winner may be selected in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Prize Listing

Odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries received. No substitution or transfer of prizes, except if prizes become unavailable for any reason Sponsor may award substitute of equal or greater value. The winner accepts responsibility for all federal, state and local taxes and fees in connection with the prize. Sponsor does not and shall not provide any warranty of any kind on or with respect to any prize.

General Conditions


Entrants agree to be bound by these rules. By submitting the electtronic entry form for the Challenge, participants indemnify Sponsor and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, prize suppliers, employees and agents  for, and release and hold each of them harmless from, any and all liability, injury, loss, claim, cost, expense or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of prize.

If for any reason the Challenge is not capable of being held or completed as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the challenge, then Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Challenge. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of or resulting from technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in the Challenge or downloading any materials in the Challenge. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CHALLENGE MAY CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION OF APPLICABLE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

The foreoing terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
